The Art Niche Expo 2025 round table, moderated by Elena Cvjetković, featured Sultan Pasha and the audience itself, and wasn’t just another presentation of the new brand or just a meet-up with the renowned perfumer. It exposed the different facets of niche perfumery to its human and delicate core, and touched on topics vital to its future, such as authenticity, collaboration, and speaking up.

The Institute for Art and Olfaction announced the 11th Art and Olfaction Awards finalists in juried categories on April 11, 2025. The winners in all categories were announced on May 29 at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
“How to stand out?” – the masters of controversial marketing answer the hottest question
The panel discussion on Esxence 2025: “How to position your brand for maximum attention from press, influencers, journalists and retailers?”
The question remains unanswered, as it should be, because there is no universal solution that fits every brand.
However, Etienne de Swardt (Etat Libre d’Orange) and Jun Lim (Borntostandout), the masters of controversial marketing, gave the most illuminating talks on standing out in a highly competitive and overcrowded perfume market.

“Leading by the nose” enabled some precious insights into the compromises and personal struggles of perfumers working in the industry or as independent and self-taught perfumers. It scratched the surface of many issues we rarely witness exposed to the public.
