The brand launched its first perfume in 2018, but I first encountered it three months ago, during the Esxence. I will be forever grateful to the colleague who pointed me to the Essential perfumes stand.
The latest Essential Parfums release, Fig Infusion by Nathalie Lorson, is a green, brightly aromatic, and softly balsamic composition based on woody and leafy figs.
While the sparkling opening delivers a sensation of freshly squeezed, juicy mandarin, it soon dives into the creamy-aromatic greenness.
Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums feels like sitting in the deep shade of a fig tree on a lazy summer afternoon. It feels both relaxed and vivacious. The heart mimics a light hairiness of intensely green leaves with a softly tickling texture, providing a voluminous and airy shade, even during the hottest parts of the day.
The base’s benzoin and musks are infused with fig tree milkiness. In the final phases of development, Fig Infusion is all about a pampering, soul-soothing experience: round, creamy, comforting, and still fresh.

Essential Parfums stands for the face of the reincarnated authenticity in honouring what is truly essential:
A well-crafted collection of perfumes, all created by excellent perfumers, in simple and nice bottles, accompanied by a sustainable and transparent approach and smartly measured, in today’s terms, even understated marketing—all that at a very affordable price.
Geraldine Archambault, the brand’s owner, discovered that the next perfume will be patchouli-themed, and Essential Parfums is preparing to launch refillable bottles.
