Nostos is a lovely ambery and woody rose perfume paying the olfactive tribute to the East, and the narrative tribute to the Greek mithology.

In Greek, nostos means “return.”
In the narrative, the perfume is inspired by the victorious homecomings of heroes in Greek mythology, namely Achilles and Odyssey (roman Ulysses), the heroes of Homer’s epics, and their longing for home.
I smelled Nostos on Esxence 2025:
This is a rich yet soft oriental (despite the notes listed by the brand) that pays tribute to the scents of the East surrounding a rose.
I like Nostos more than other Etat Libre d’Orange releases in the Orange Extraordinaire line, counting from 2020.
