Le Grand Jeu by Voyages Imaginaries

My Scent of the Day is Le Grand Jeu by Voyages Imaginaries, a new brand launched by one of my favourite creative tandems: Isabelle Doyen and Camille Goutal.

This is a captivating tuberose/gardenia, coconut and vanilla perfume and it’s composition is, as a whole collection, made from only natural ingredients.

The tropical composition is opulent and quite sweet but radiates from warm, sun-kissed skin in a very refined way.

You might smell nothing surprising or new, but – should everything be such? In Le Grand Jeu simplicity and quality won me over.

Le Grand Jeu cheers and sings: “Summer!”.

Exactly because it isn’t spectacularly new, but is nevertheless lovely bright and warm, it feels like a very dear friend you look forward to meeting once a year, on a holiday, under the palm trees or pines bordering the beach.
